MyLittleShelf ("the App") is developed by Ideas All Day Ltd. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users, especially as our app is designed for families with children.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. This is used solely for authentication and personalizing your experience.
We store information about books you add to your collection, including titles, authors, and cover images you scan. This data is associated with your family account.
The App uses your device camera to scan book covers. Images are processed by AI to extract book information. We do not store the raw camera images on our servers after processing is complete.
Book cover images are sent to AI services for text extraction and book identification. These services process the image and return structured data. Images are not retained by the AI service after processing.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
MyLittleShelf is designed for parents to manage their children's book collections. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The app is intended to be used by parents or guardians.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the app's core functionality (e.g., AI processing of book covers).
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen within the app.
